Can We Be Happier?
About the book
The book is about happiness, some aspects of life relevant for being happy, a bit about brain and a bit about me.
There are many books about happiness, most of them are interesting and enjoyable. Some are more philosophical, some less, and some leave us with important questions.
“Can we live a happier life?!” is a practical book. It deals with many aspects of happiness, some of which do not seem related in the first glance.
It introduces a new index – HQ, like IQ and EQ, but to measure one’s potential to feel happy.
It is based on observations and introspections, which have begun when I started to meditate, 38 years ago, and the process was intensified when I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, getting the highest priority and thought since then.
Each chapter also includes some practical advice, which can be easily applied in the daily life.
If you decide to read the book, wishing you a pleasant and fruitful experience.
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift”.
